Wheel Cleaner Test: Turtle Wax Platinum Wheel Cleaner £6.49 / $7.00
A spray-on cleaner. This is good one for people with classic or expensive cars, as it is harmless to tyres, wheel design details, logos or coatings. It’s also suitable for alloy, chrome and steel wheels and plastic trims. The only downside being there’s no brush to apply it with.
It gives as good a clean as the other Turtle Wax wheel cleaners and leaves no streaking behind. A fast acting gentle-but-tough cleaner which leaves a good finish.
8/10 As good a job as the other Turtle Wax cleaners, but is gentle on older and more expensive alloys.
