You could try this, although ValetPRO Protectant is a thin-ish texture so it would be a little difficult.
The best thing to use would be a sponge. I use the sponge side of one of those &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.photos.com/search/royaltyfree/92079085&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Scouring Pads&lt;/a&gt; that you use for dishes, as it&#039;s cheaper than using an applicator pad every time and having to throw it away. A pack of 6 cost as little as £1.00.
Simply pull off the scouring bit of it and just use the sponge. 
There&#039;s my Top Tip for the day ;-).
